When a family struggles to survive, school is often the first thing a child gives up. We help children from poor, migrant and first-generation learner families get into school and stay there.
We also run evening tuition and adult literacy classes, because a parent who can read is a child's strongest supporter.
What we do
School kits
Bags, notebooks, uniforms and footwear at the start of each school year.
Evening tuition centres
Free after-school learning support in villages, led by local tutors.
Scholarships
Fee support for bright students who cannot afford higher studies.
Digital literacy
Basic computer skills for rural children and youth.
Adult literacy
Reading, writing and numbers for adults, especially women.
